Publishing Event organised by The University of Edinburgh & moderated by Writer In Residence, Jenni Fagan.

Come along to THE BUSINESS a unique event in association with The University of Edinburgh. The Business takes you through all aspects of the publishing industry with professionals from each area gathering to talk about what they do, and take questions from the audience. Including Neil Astley – Publisher Bloodaxe Books, Francis Bickmore – Editor Canongate Books, Stuart Kelly – Aye Write, Man Booker, Peggy Hughes – Dundee Book Festival, Nelle Andrews – Agent at Peter, Fraser & Dunlop, 
The Scottish Book Trust, Scottish Poetry Library, novelist, poet & screenwriter — Jenni Fagan. This is a FREE EVENT with REFRESHMENTS, ALL WELCOME, both students & public.

The Business will be followed in the evening by a LIVE READING NIGHT hosted by the Creative Writing MSc.

Each writer and poet has a full three minute slot in which to showcase their work. We have a huge mix of styles and voices in the line up, promising to make this an entertaining and fun event!!

This is a non-ticketed, free event, though feel free to join us on Facebook. Please come along and share with us a wonderful night of storytelling and poetry as well as the opportunity to meet people in the writing and publishing business.
